Basic Info BioI'm a twenty-something grad student from Canada with a BMus and a BSc. I like to know stuff. I also like to create stuff. If I wasn't a scientist or a musician, I'd probably be a chef. Expressing myself through sound, words, explorations... that's what I seem to be drawn to. I want to explore the world, since I can't save it (at least, not by myself). A bit of an adrenaline junkie, I love alpine skiing and hiking in the mountains.
Someday I'll likely be a disgruntled PhD doing research in speciation dynamics, biosystematics and perhaps tissue evolution while torturing undergraduates through insane taxonomy case studies, beautiful histology labs and wicked field courses. I play harpsichord and I like to write music that no one in their right mind would actually listen to. Well, maybe not *no one*. But to the average joe, listening to my music wouldn't be the most do-able experience. I'm not afraid to admit it. I like being different, even though it makes me feel so adrift and alone sometimes.
There is beauty in everything, mundane and extraordinary.
